The working principle of ball mill
To use the Ball Mill, the material to be ground is loaded into the barrel that contains grinding media. As the barrel rotates, the material is crushed between the individual pieces of grinding media that mix and crush the product into fine powder over a period of several hours. Quite simply, the longer the Ball Mill runs, the finer the powder will be.
The introduction of overflow mill's principle
Overflow mill discharge materials by overflowing the trunnion opening.In this type of mill the balls are kept in the mill, by keeping the top of the ball charge below the level of the trunnion opening. When operating an overflow mill with a higher charge escaping balls are returned to the mill by a reverse spiral in the trunnion liner or are restrained by a ball retaining grate.
